Dog School Club - Terms and Conditions
Only kind and effective training using modern day methods are used. To maximise learning, class numbers are kept to an optimum level to ensure a good ratio of instructors to handlers. The health and safety of handlers and dogs is important and each person attending class is responsible.
The use of choke/check chains, hard handling, punitive or coercive methods of training is not permitted.
All handlers are expected to: A place on a course is only secured when payment is made and you will be notified by email or telephone. Cancellation fees are payable as follows:- Lessons cannot be deferred if for any reason you are not able to come to one of the sessions. Dog School cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury or damage to a person or property. Children are always welcome and encourage the whole family to attend. For safety and the interests of training, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. Children who are noisy or jump and run about can teach dogs to chase children. Parents should explain to their children before coming to class how important it is for them to be well behaved and should always seek permission from owners before approaching dogs in class. Dog School does not allow dogs to attend who are not in a fit state to participate in class due to injury or illness. Bitches in season are not allowed to attend classes. If your dog cannot come to class the handler is encouraged to attend without the dog so training can be kept up at home. Do not bring your dog if it has been in contact with another dog infected with a contagious disease. Check with your vet if unsure. Dogs should be fully vaccinated.
